Geography: Research

A brief orientation to resources of interest to Geographers available at and from the Harold B. Lee Library.

The Big Three of Research

Understanding and implementing these 3 things are the foundation of successful research.

1. Read the manual.
2. Re-search. There is no single location (Online or off) that has all relevant information. You'll need to search several locations.
3. You HAVE to have the correct words. Discover them by re-searching. Research is iterative by nature (like writing).

What are you trying to do/find?

Finding Journal Articles

The following databases are collections of article citations - think Google Scholar, but more specialized. If they are in this list, it is because they are primarily or largely made up of citations pertinent to Geography as a discipline.
