Welcome to the Research Guide for Spanish and Portuguese Linguistics at the Harold B. Lee Library.  This guide will provide you with the basic tools and references for your classes and research and is designed to be a one-stop destination for your academic needs where Spanish and Portuguese Linguistics are concerned.  For that reason, I welcome suggestions for new content to this research guide.

With all these research tools at your disposal, you might be preparing yourself to be a real-life Louise Banks (Amy Adams' character in the movie Arrival). After all, she was teaching about Portuguese in her lecture in the movie!  You may not ever decipher an extra-terrestial language but you will certainly be prepared to understand the ins-and-outs of two of the widest-spoken languages in the world!
