Teaching Through Messaging

This project began in an educational entrepreneurship course, taught by Dr. Richard West of the McKay School, in the Creativity, Innovation, and Design Studio. The course focused on creativity theory from psychology research, as well as design thinking strategies and entrepreneurship/lean startup methods. During the course, students were encouraged to apply for the Y-Prize competition, sponsored by the BYU Ballard Center, as part of their final projects. Cade’s final project for the course was a winner in the Y-Prize competition, providing the funds for him to implement the project in Africa."
