Bookbinding at the Makerspace is a patron-led service.
Makerspace staff does not do binding on patron behalf but rather makes materials and tools available to current BYU students and employees.
Your first time using our bookbinding equipment you will be required to sign a waiver. Any following visits you have to check in at the Makerspace desk. You will be asked to wear a yellow tag so we can keep track of who has signed the waiver and is allowed to be in bookbinding.
Below you will find the bookbinding tools available at the Makerspace listed with images and explanations. The tools listed before are not an exhaustive list of everything that we have but gives a general overview of the types of things we have available.
