The BYU Library has subscriptions to hundreds of databases containing multitudes of scholarly material. Below, you will find a selection of these databases that may be helpful for art historical research. Additionally, you will find a list of databases freely available on the web without a subscription.
Full Text means that articles in these databases are likely to be available in their full format. Indexes means that the databases contain lists and abstracts of articles and likely do not have the full item. If you find an article listed in an index that you'd like to explore, first try searching the BYU Library's ScholarSearch to see if we have access to it elsewhere. If we don't, request a free pdf scan of the article through Interlibrary Loan!
