NATS Art Song Composition Award by
Beginning in 2010, the NATS has sponsored an Art Song composition contest every two years.
Canadian Art Song Project
To foster the creation and performance of Canadian art song repertoire by commissioning Canadian composers to write for Canadian singers; to facilitate a collaborative process between the composer and the performer; and to promote artistic excellence and the Canadian experience in the living art of song.
Ukrainian Art Song Project
Musica Leopolis has been developed under the auspices of the Canadian Ukrainian Opera Association, a registered charity, whose objectives are to promote Ukrainian classical music in all forms including live performances and recordings. The CUOA has a long and distinguished history in staging and promoting Ukrainian classical music and operas.
Lotte Lehmann League
The field of classical song, recital song, solo song, or the most common expression, art song is seldom given the attention that the field deserves. Though the star of this website is certainly Lotte Lehmann, her co-star is the world of Lieder, mélodie, and art song.
