Finding Plays

Search the library catalog for the title of the play.
Search in Play Index which indexes 40,000 plays published from1949 to the present and let's you know if the play can be found in a collection or anthology as well. Search by title, genre, author, subject, cast type and more.
If you want to browse plays transferred from the Theatre & Media Arts Script Library do a "Search All" keyword search in the library catalog for "Theatre and Media Arts Script Library{945}".

Searching for Screenplays

Screenplays are catalogued in PN 1997, then individually by title.  If you are searching in the online catalog, search by keyword. 

The screenplay could also be part of an anthology of screenplays. Anthologies have the subject heading motion picture plays. Selected examples of screenplay anthologies: (check the "PN 1997 .A1" area in the stacks)
