Take a photo of anything related to this year's theme and post it to our site. The best three photos will win CASH PRIZES!! The winners and several others will be displayed in one of our library galleries.
Even if you do not wish to submit a photo, come and have fun with us! Visit our site and enjoy the creativity of fellow students. And, while you're at it, come visit the second floor of the library and check out our collection of books and other science resources!
Everyday Stewards: Sustainability in Action
“As beneficiaries of the divine Creation, what shall we do? We should care for the earth, be wise stewards over it, and preserve it for future generations. And we are to love and care for one another.” -President Russell M. Nelson
Each of us shares the responsibility of taking care of our planet and its resources. As we look around us, we can see some indications of good stewardship in our natural environment, our built environment, and our social environment. Some of these are found quite close to home: in our daily interactions with others, in the buildings we frequent, in classes, lab work, internships, etc. Chances are you are also helping by making sustainable choices. We want to see examples of good stewardship that you notice. Share your photos of the sustainable practices that you are involved in or that you see around you.
If you would like some help creating fantastic photos, the library has many resources to assist you. Check out the "Available Resources" tab on this page for links to software training, equipment loans, etc.
