  • Can't find an item in BYU's catalog? Try WorldCat! WorldCat allows you to search the collections of libraries around the world to find items you need. 
  • Pro Tip: By accessing WorldCat through HBLL's web page, you will automatically see if BYU has an item that appears in your WorldCat search AND you will be connected to HBLL's Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services. 

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) 

  • Need a book or article the library doesn't have? We can order is online through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
    • First-time users will fill out a short, one-time ILL registration form.
    • Then, fill out an online request for materials.
    • Arrival times:
      • Physical materials: print books, DVDs, theses, microfilm, etc. = 7 days
      • Electronic materials (an article or book chapter) = 1 - 2 days
