Amt für Statistik - Liechtenstein (Liechtenstein's Office of Statistics) Statistical coverage of numerous aspects of life and society in Liechtenstein. Some statistical information is partially available in English.

Bundesamt für Statistik der Schweiz (Swiss Federal Statistical Office) Searchable website of the Swiss federal office for statistics, with information on the status and development of the population, economy, society, education, research, territory, and the environment.

Statistik Austria - Die Informationsmanager (Statistics Austria - The Information Manager) Searchable statistics in branches of Austrian life, labor, demographics, education, culture, health, society, etc. German and English interfaces.

Statistisches Bundesamt - Destatis (German Federal Statistical Office) A thematic gathering of official data on the society, the economy, the environment and the state. Searchable with German and English interfaces.

Swiss Open Government Data Opendata.swiss allows access to nearly 6,000 datasets in various categories of governmental oversight. The categories can be browsed, and a "data catalogue" also leads to metadata searching. Interfaces in English, German, French and Italian.

The German General Social Survey (ALLBUS) The German General Social Survey (ALLBUS) is a biennial survey that has been conducted since 1980 on the attitudes, behavior, and social structure of persons resident in Germany. A representative cross-section of the population is questioned using face-to-face interviews. The data can be used for social research and, as they are well-edited and documented, for teaching.
