Creating an Account

Many finance and business databases require individual accounts.  If you experience problems setting up your account try the following:

  • Make sure to access databases through the library's links in this guide.
  • Use your BYU email address
  • Check the junk folder and quarantine site for your BYU email
    • registration verification emails are often flagged as spam

Accessing Databases

If you experience problems accessing library databases, try the following:

  • Clear the browser cache and cookies
  • Use the database links in this guide
  • For databases that have individual accounts, reset your password or re-register
    • some databases, such as PitchBook, reset accounts each school year or after periods of inactivity.  If you experience issues with PitchBook specifically, reach out to support@pitchbook.com.
